About Anthony Harris
Anthony M. Harris, MD, is a fellowship trained Orthopaedic Traumatologist. He graduated from Norfolk State University in Norfolk, VA, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He went on to earn his medical degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, NY. Dr. Harris completed his general surgery residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. Additionally, he finished a one-year orthopaedic trauma fellowship at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Additionally, in 2005, Dr. Harris was a Clinical Assistant Professor and Chief on the Orthopaedic Trauma Service at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
A board certified orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Harris has published several medical research articles and he has presented in his subspecialty areas of femur fractures, pelvic fractures, and adult foot and ankle trauma. His clinical interest includes foot and ankle trauma, pelvic trauma, foot and ankle, and general orthopaedics.
